Along with an apparent homicide in Glen Burnie last Thursday there were at least three shooting-related incidents reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department over the weekend.
Two of the shootings resulted in three people going to the hospital, with two of the victims in serious/critical condition.
Sunday night, October 24, 2021, at approximately 10:30 p.m.police responded to a basketball court on Stillmeadows Drive in Severn where they found two adult female shooting victims, who were sent to the hospital. One 22-year-old victim was in serious/critical condition and the other 19-year-old woman had non-life-threatening injuries, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Saturday morning, October 23, 2021, at approximately 8:00 a.m. a man was walking down West Nursery Road in Linthicum when he was assaulted and shot multiple times. The victim was transported to an area trauma center in serious/critical condition. Police believe this was a targeted incident. The suspect was said to have been wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and driving a red sedan.
Earlier in that morning, On October 23, 2021, at approximately 3:30 a.m. in Hanover officers responded to the area of Annapolis Road and Rockenbach Road for a report of occupants of two vehicles shooting at each other while driving along Annapolis Road.
Officers located multiple shell casings, but no victims. As of publication, no known victims have surfaced .
