Two different unrelated crimes were reported to the Anne Arundel County Police and Annapolis police on Tuesday--one in Glen Burnie and one in Annapolis.
In Glen Burnie in the early morning February 8, a woman reported a failed-robber sprayed her with pepper spray and left. In Annapolis, on that Tuesday afternoon, a girl let a friend in to her home who allegedly strangled her for three seconds, after being asked to leave, and then exited her home.
Anne Arundel County Police Department
On February 8, 2022, at approximately 2:45 a.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen in the 6400 block of union Court in Glen Burnie. The victim was walking from her residence to her vehicle when the suspect approached her, demanded her purse, and pepper-sprayed her, leaving with her purse. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

On 2/8/22 at approximately 3:45pm, officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Ave. for a reported assault. The complainant advised her daughter was assaulted on 02/06/2022. The juvenile advised she allowed her friend into her home and he began to display strange behavior. She then asked the male subject to leave the residence at which time he strangled her for approximately 3 seconds and shoved her. This investigation is ongoing.
